Farm life

I haven't been on the internet as much this past while because i'm now living in a cottage on an organic farm between Somerset West and Stellenbosch. It is my friends' who is off to work in Johannesburg for some time. My main purpose there is to maintain his vegetable garden. It's really nice to wake up in the morning, watering the plants and having my breakfast to the sound of rustling trees.

I just found the website for the farm - http://www.hathawayorganic.com - it is a really great place.

Peace and quiet is something I treasure. I may sound like an old man but it is something i strongly desire but can never seem to find. The last place I moved into (to get away from the mid-town bustle) turned out to be across the street from a construction site. When it was finally completed the charismatic Christians decided to take-over on weekends in the new building. Not to mention my Korean neighbour who played on her piano alll the friggin time. She was good but she got so damn intense sometimes. And her hyperactive son while cute as hell I believe may also be a vessel for the anti-christ.

Nostalgia

I seem to be the only person I know who has a vivid memory of this tv-show. It only ran for one season until it was cancelled. It probably wasn't all that good - but this clip sure makes me feel like a kid again. There is something magical about the way he says "1" on the countdown.

Scatman

Scatman is the coolest cat I've ever met. Also one of the most beautiful.

I took a nice video but youtube is being annoying and the blogger video wouldn't do it any justice. This new camera is awesome!

Jan Hammer rocks out

Man, he looks so cool.

New Camera

My friend lent me this camera. I remember we were in Betty's Bay maybe 2 years ago when he found this washed out on the shore. After seeing the silly Zombie thing he thought I may have some use for it. It is really great. It can take up to an hour of video footage and it works just as great above water as it does under it. No doubt I'm going to do a more extensive Zombie outing with this one.

I haven't tested it in the ocean yet but I gave it one under the tap.

Zombie Flesh Eaters

One of the best scenes in the history of cinema IMHOOO

I think this Zombie looks a lot like Dirk. Especially when his hair is longer.
